For those who know me, I am SpAd, the newest member of the Emperium Xenos team. For those who don’t, maybe the terrifying name of Kamachi will ring those bells of alarm. I have been around since the end of pre-alpha and probably the longest supporter of the Xenos server. I have also been trying out my story telling and writing ability out on the citizens of Akarra for just as long.

TbbW may have poor tastes, but he did know that one thing every version of Akarra lacked was a direction, a storyline.

I must have looked like an angel sent from heaven to him… well, either that or left over pizza and a bottle of beer in the trash he usually rummages through.

Either way, he asked me to join his team and eventually I said yes. He wanted me to join due to my growing relationship with the team and my ability to bring forth unique stories of untold… well, stories. What he did not expect to obtain was my undecipherable thought process nor my tiger like stubbornness (long story, ask me later).

“Why is this important or even news worthy you ask?”

Well, since I have joined, the “Big Update” has made some significant progress.

Since I’m pushing this forward, I’ve become, unofficially, the one in charge of the “Big Update” so if you have any questions or concerns or comments, you should be able to find me (Azlo) on IRC. If team mates don’t like me in charge, they can go right ahead and take it from me.

Now I know some of you are saying “Bullshit!” and “Liar!” while others are saying “So when will the release date be?”, and just like our wonderful democracy and politicians, I don’t have to give you a release date or proof that I’m not lying.

Instead I’m asking that you trust me (more then you would a politician), vote on the homepage, tell your friends, read on and keep an eye out for the next news post.

And I do have some things that I’ll share with you that will wet your appetite for the “Big Update.” You can consider it an Emperium Xenos birthday gift from me to the fans of WiA.

Secretly there is a date set, and it is unknown on whether we’ll make the deadline, but there is a date set on when we wish to release this update.

Also, the first thing I did when I joined the team was make a complete list of all the skills and spells. What will be released in the “Big Update” is hard to say because they still have to go through testing and tweaking, but at least we have a complete list to work with now.

The other thing you can expect, obviously from a storyteller, is a storyline (or two) told through the environment, NPCs and Quests, which means new places to explore, new NPCs to talk to, and new quests to complete. (Well, a beginning storyline)

I’ve worked hard on the Wizard tree too, taking peoples concerns into consideration, but at the same time carefully monitoring its progression so that it does not become an over powered abomination like another server.

For those who are not proficient in the ideas of magic, think of a Wizard as a trebuchet or a catapult. They are powerful, but slow and defenceless.

What? Its true.

Also in the “Big Update,” just for a certain 14-year-old giggling girl, is the ability for any monster to drop “poop,” however I absolutely refuse to put in an NPC with a poop fetish, willing to buy the poop from players. I don’t care what that 14-year-old giggling girl offers me, I am against a poop fetish NPC.

The “poop” will be a crap drop (no pun intended) and will either be useless, or needed to downgrade your equipment (like anyone would want to do that).

well Server motherboard is replaced...

i cant get a fair price for the components i need to renovate the mobo.
one of the caps have bursted so if i started the server up again it wuld only run for a few hours and then crash again...

so i replaced the mobo all together.

the hardware specs are:
Mobo: Matsonic MS7157C
Cpu: Celeron 1Ghz
Mem: 256Mb PC133

old specs whas:
Mobo: Abit BP6
Cpu: two Celeron 500Mhz
Mem: 256Mb PC100

and i just want to add ( ppl easely offended look away )
a big F you to the owner at www.badcaps.net for refusing to sell me the components i needed even doh i wanted to pay him extra to ship em to Sweden... he wanted me to order them from China (im not kidding) and if i where to order em from china i wuld hafto pay more then 50Euros even doh the components i needed only cost around 15Euros due to they only sell 25packs and i needed less + shipping from china to sweden...
well now i got my frustration out ^^

We will have a Halloween Event running from midnight to midnight (GMT) for the date of Tuesday the 31st of October. Go to a town, and collect candy. A purple candy is worth 100 red candies. The one with the most candy after the event wins! Winner gets a pumpkin shield!

seems to be another problem with the server...
i'm gonna fetch some other mobo and other stuff to see if i cant get rid of these problems for good until i renovated the BP6 mobo compleatly.

haloween event will be done after iwe managed to fix the server.
( suld be done within 48h )

yepp he lvl'd a mundane up all the way to lvl100.
he got an item as a reward for all them blood sweat and tears from all that exping.

anyone who wants to do the same wuld be rewarded the same.
just let us know what char name you want to exp up b4 you start to exp that char up so an admin can make make a note of the nick.

Imageshack suport have been put into the forum.
when you reply or create a topic below the "Attach File" you now got something that says "Join Tagworld for FREE! - ImageShack"
just enter the file in the box and klick "Host It"
then use the: Forum (1)
links.
the first one for big images.
the second one for smaller images.

coz the first one is a thumbnail so it might be irritating for small image's like bitmaps or simular.

we wuld like you to use this function as much as possible due to this saves us alot of space and bandwith.
